Judy Johnson has been named the 2018 Knute Nelson Renaissance Award Recipient. The award honors an individual whose leadership and support to the Knute Nelson organization has been exceptional in addition to exemplifying the Knute Nelson mission and beliefs. 

Congratulations to Knute Nelson Tree of Excellence recipient, Keziah Koslowsky, Care Attendant at Grand Arbor. The Tree of Excellence Award is the highest level of recognition through the Knute Nelson Recognition Program, and Keziah was nominated for this award due to her outstanding performance.

Knute Nelson and Innovative Builders Inc. has been selected by Finance & Commerce as a 2019 Progress Minnesota award nominee in the nonprofit organization category for their development of Crystal Brook Senior Living in Park Rapids, MN.

We are honored to be recognized as a 2019 Distinction Award recipient for Business Excellence by the Park Rapids Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce. This prestigious award is given to recipients who exemplify the values of the Chamber: leadership, workforce, innovation, and community.

Knute Nelson in Alexandria is a recipient of the Spirit of Advocacy Award from LeadingAge Minnesota.

We are humbled as we announce our 2019 “Best of the Lakes Area” awards. The “Best of the Lakes Area” is the Echo Press newspaper’s readers’ choice awards.

Lynette Berglund, a care attendant at Grand Arbor in Alexandria, recently received the Make Zero Harm Possible Award from LeadingAge Minnesota. The award recognizes staff in aging services settings who demonstrate their commitment to safe, quality care and to treating the people they serve with respect and dignity – always.

Knute Nelson received the Award of Honor for Performance Excellence in Aging Services from LeadingAge Minnesota. The award recognizes an advanced level of continuous quality improvement and outstanding achievements in 24 management practices focused on leadership, strategy, customers, measurement, workforce and operations.

Knute Nelson Care Center has achieved a five star rating with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Nursing Home Comparison rating system. The rating system was developed by CMS to help consumers, their families, and caregivers compare nursing homes more easily.

Brittney Thoreson, Vice President of Housing at Knute Nelson has been selected for the inaugural cohort of the Argentum LEAD (Leadership Advancement & Development) Program.
