You might have thought that hitting retirement would be like being on permanent vacation – you are done with work, might have life-long friends to spend time with, and can now finally focus only on what is most important in your life.
But life can be surprisingly stressful for older adults – and that stress can manifest in various unhealthy ways.
A free educational seminar entitled, “U.S. Tax Reform and Leaving Your Legacy,” will take place on Thursday, November 8th at 6:30 pm. This seminar will help you understand the new tax code and how you and your family fare under the new changes. You will also learn strategies around sustaining your church’s foundation, supplementing an endowment fund or leaving an inheritance.
Caregiver burnout is described as a state of physical, emotional and mental exhaustion where you may experience feelings of anxiety, depression and extreme fatigue. Caregiver burnout can likely occur if you are caring for someone else and not getting the help you need, or if you’re trying to do more than you are able to.
