Specialty Programs

Lee Silverman Voice Training (LSVT) BIG and LOUD

LSVT BIG and LOUD programs help improve communication and/or mobility for people with Parkinson’s and other neurological conditions. Knute Nelson is one of the few organizations that has certified clinicians for both the physical therapy (LSVT® BIG) and speech therapy (LSVT® LOUD) programs.

VitalStim Therapy is designed to help swallowing through the use of Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation (NMES). Electrical stimulation is used to aid muscle strengthening to rehabilitate the swallow.
