Our memory care community creates programs designed to meet the unique physical, emotional and spiritual needs of individuals with dementia.
We focus on each individual's strengths and what they are still able to do (rather than what they are no longer able to do). Our holistic approach maximizes residents' independence and choice while also keeping them safe. And their dignity is first and foremost as we provide assistance with their daily activities.
“We deeply feel that our Lord may have helped this residency to occur, may have granted direction on Alan’s care, and may have granted comfort in the immeasurable personal commitment that each staff member granted Alan.” – Paul, brother of former memory care resident
Activities play a large part in our memory care communities. They provide the social and mental stimulation we all need. Our activities staff get to know our residents and plan activities that they'll enjoy and are appropriate for their abilities.
On any given week you may see residents enjoying a concert from a visiting musician, doing chair yoga, baking, making crafts or going on a scenic drive. Meaningful activities enrich and give purpose to our lives, regardless of our cognitive ability.
