The Whys of Wills (PART I): What wills are, how they work, discussion of probate and alternatives to wills. This is a leader discussion for Part II on October 9th.

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 9 from 6:30-8:00 pm
The Whys of Wills (PART II): A follow up session to PART I, PART II covers beneficiary designations, the pros and cons of beneficiary designations, how beneficiary designations work (or don’t work) with wills. We will also discuss power of attorney documents and discuss what they are, who should have one, who should be named in the documents. Lastly, Staff from the Written Gift, a local non-profit organization and attorney, Bowen, will discuss Advanced Health Care Directives, to include who needs an advanced directive, what they are (and are not), and how to get one completed.

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 8 from 6:30-8:00 pm
