HIGH SCHOOL

Knute provides flexible hours and shifts to give you the freedom to attend high school and earn extra income at the same time. If you live in an area near one of our facilities or divisions, view our openings and find a position that has hours geared toward student life and apply. Get a step ahead and earn while you learn.

Alexandria Area High School

Great news for students in grades 11 and 12 at Alexandria Area High School. You can earn elective credits by working at Knute Nelson! Gain valuable work experience, connect with older adults in your community, and explore healthcare careers - all while earning high school credit and a paycheck. Earn (1) elective credit for every 350 hours worked, including hours during the summer. You can earn up to (2) elective credits each year under this program.

COLLEGE

As you pursue your career in healthcare, gain valuable, hands-on experience and earn extra income with Knute. With our services covering a vast area in Minnesota and a portion of North Dakota, you are sure to find an opportunity to work for Knute while attending school. It’s a great way to build a relationship with us and to stay connected!

Alexandria Technical & Community College (ATCC) offers many courses that align with your desire and commitment to work in healthcare. Our Care Center, Grand 
Arbor and Nelson Gables facilities are located in the heart of Alexandria and near ATCC. Another great way to earn and learn!
