2010 HomeCare Elite
Knute Nelson Home Care has been selected as one of the 2010 HomeCare Elite! We were recognized as being in the top 25% of agencies in the country. The HomeCare Elite honors the top agencies in quality outcomes, quality improvement, and financial performance measures. The 2010 HomeCare Elite was compiled using publicly available data from CMS's Home Health Compare and CMS cost reports.

Home care expands to Long Prairie
Knute Nelson Home Care continues to grow. Most recently, a new office was introduced in Long Prairie, MN to offer exceptional local care to that community. This new office will be managed by Brooke Aho, a local resident, who has an extensive nursing background. Home care offices are located in Alexandria, Morris, Elbow Lake and Long Prairie.

Nelson Gables Renewed as Confident Choices Site
Aging Services of Minnesota recently announced that Nelson Gables has been renewed as a certified Aging Services' Confident Choices for Senior Living location. Being chosen for Confident Choices requires an extensive assessment of the assisted living community to review the services, environment and the overall experience of being a resident at Nelson Gables.
The on-site reviewers were very impressed by the warm welcome they received from the Nelson Gables staff, enjoyed the gardening areas, the program for lifelong learning and the extensive community outreach that takes place. The reviewers also noted that enough cannot be said about the wellness programming and available for residents.
Knute Nelson is so proud to have Nelson Gables selected once again as a Confident Choices of Senior Living community.
