Offered at the Nelson Gables assisted living community, Respite Care offers short term relief to caregivers. For many individuals currently caring for a loved one, there are times when a break in their caregiving is needed. Whether it be for a trip or vacation, for time to recover from illness or hospitalization, or to allow themselves relief from their caregiving responsibilities, respite care is an excellent option to ensure those they look after continue to receive the attention and care they need.
The minimum stay for Respite Care at Nelson Gables is five days, with a maximum stay of 60 days.
Respite Care offers two levels of support, based upon the individual’s needs.

Intermediate Support
This level of care includes all services provided in Basic Support as well as care for those who need escort service and toileting assistance.
