Directions to Knute Nelson from the South/I-94:
Take the first exit off of I-94 W into Alexandria (Hwy 29). Turn north (right) at the top of the exit heading into Alexandria. Highway 29 turns into Broadway Street. Turn east onto 12th Avenue East. Follow 12th Avenue East for 6 blocks. A large KN sign marks the front entrance. Parking is in the immediate area.
To reach the Nelson Gables and the Nelson Wellness Center, continue traveling on 12th Avenue East for approximately two blocks. Turn right onto Nokomis Street. Signs mark the entrances for the facilities, which are immediately on the right.
Directions to Knute Nelson from the Northeast:
Follow CR 42, 29 or 27 until you reach the stop light at the intersection of Highway 27/Nokomis Street and 3rd Avenue East (by Elden’s Foods). Follow Nokomis Street south for about 6 blocks to 12th Avenue East and turn west. Follow 12th Avenue East for two blocks, where a large Knute Nelson “KN” sign marks the front entrance.
To reach the Nelson Gables and the Nelson Wellness Center, continue traveling on Nokomis Street south past 12th Avenue East. The Nelson Gables and the Nelson Wellness Center will be on the immediate right. Signs mark the entrances for the facilities.

Follow CR 82 or 22 until you reach the stop light at the intersection of Broadway Street and 3rd Avenue West. Follow Broadway Street south for about 9 blocks to 12th Avenue East and turn East. Follow 12th Avenue East for 6 blocks. A large KN sign marks the front entrance. Parking is in the immediate area.
